Every dollar goes a long way in helping the equines of Appalachia. ALI truly could not operate without each and everyone of our amazing donors! As a 501c3, all donations are tax deductible!
GIFT CARDS AND AMAZON WISHLIST
From mineral blocks and feed, to bedding and halters, our team spends a lot of time at Tractor Supply as it is one of the few stores that is readily in most areas ALI operates. Lowes (for fencing/building supplies) and Walmart (medical and various supplies can be cheaper here) can also be easily used.

Please note: This is a very small post office and can quickly get overwhelmed with too much volume. If you send a hard copy gift card, please email “donations@appalachianlegacyinc.org” so we can keep an eye out for it.
CURRENT BIG TICKET ITEM DONATION
Here is a list of current items ALI is currently in need of:
1) 100 gallon water tank (those big white plastic water tanks). Currently we do not have running water. We rely on frequent, usually daily, trips to fill 1 gallon jugs and buckets to transport back to camp for the horses. This item will significantly cut down on these trips, which in turn means more time out with the horses!
2) Riding mowers/small to medium tractor. With newly acquired 300 acres of sanctuary mountain, there comes maintenance of the fields.
3) Trucks/trailers - have an old truck or trailer that needs a little work that you don’t use much? Let us know what you have! Due to the terrain we traverse, 4wd is needed.

GENERAL SUPPLY DONATIONS
Have a connection to a bulk supplier or get good discounts on supplies, such as mineral blocks, Equipride tubs, general horse supplies, corral panels, or anything else? Or just feeling generous and want to have a different way to donate?

A question that is frequently asked. Due to the dangerous nature and harshness of the work, in the field volunteer options are very limited at this time.
